National Standards For Electric Motorcycles

The safety requirements of electric motorcycles and electric mopeds are clearly defined in terms of electrical appliances, mechanical safety, signs and warnings, and test methods for electric motorcycles and mopeds. Electric two-wheeled motorcycles: powered by electricity, the maximum design speed is greater than 50km/h two-wheeled motorcycles.

Electric tricycle: Powered by electricity, the maximum design speed is greater than 50km/h, the whole vehicle is not more than 400kg of motorcycle.

Electric two-wheeled mopeds: Powered by electricity, two-wheeled motorcycles with one of the following conditions: The maximum design speed is greater than the 20km/h and not greater than the 50km/h, the vehicle is more than 40kg and the maximum design speed is less than 50km/h.

Electric tricycle Mopeds: powered by electricity, the maximum design speed is not greater than the 50km/h and the entire vehicle quality is not more than 400kg of tricycle light motorcycle.
